I am so excited you decided to join myself and all the SVG Attic Design Team members for this amazing hop. Each project featured in the Gifts From the Heart Blog Hop will be an item that can be given as a gift for the holidays or any other time.
If you came from Ruthie's blog then you are on the right track! If not, head on to the beginning (SVG Attic's blog) which can be found here.
I found some inspiration online and made a cocoa mug gift box...err, gift mug.
Uh Oh! |
Packaging |
Goodies! |

The handle |
And what exactly is in the mug o' goodies?
A little bit of this and a little bit of that to make some yummy hot cocoa!
Here's a closeup of the top of the marshmallow baggie.
For the cocoa mug I used the pillow box SVG from SVG Attic's Holiday Cheer Gift Boxes. I got the instructions on making the mug from Split Coast Stamper's. You can find the instructions here.
The tag in the front is from the Holiday Cheer Gift Boxes as well.
The cute gingerbread man is from the Santa's Little Helper SVG collection.
I made the baggie top myself by just cutting a strip of cardstock, folding it over on a sandwich bag and then stapling it.
Now on to the good stuff!

Kasi, that is so cute! I love the mug!! Your little bag topper is adorable too! I love that border you put on everything! Is that a file or a punch? Or maybe a ribbon? I just love it! :-)
Anna Dawn, I used a Martha Stewart punch and punched both sides of the paper for the border. :)
I love your clever "mug" - so pretty and festive too. Thanks for the inspiration! You girls are giving me so many good ideas.
